LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | :) Retro-kitchen Accesories :) Hi everyone, I am looking for retro kitchen accesories, even modern one, like cuttlery, bins, plates, cups, glasses, kettles. We took out our old kitchen and are putting in a new one next week in. It's a black and white kitchen-diner(as we took the wall between the rooms out, so everything is one room now) and the walls we're going to paint red. That's why I am looking for colourful accesories. Can you girls please give me some sites and some ideeas for some corner units for the dining room and some cool modern sofa. Thanks everyone!!!

| Have you checked Ebay? I was looking for a set of mixing bowls like the ones my mom used to have, big porcelain pyrex bowls, nested in primary colors. Found some beautiful ones on Ebay, in mint condition and it did not break the bank!

| I've never ordered from this company but somehow I'm on their mailing list. They have furniture in all styles (including retro) at amazing prices. Home Decorations - Furniture - Bookshelves | HomeDecorators.com I don't know about shipping to the UK though. eta- BTW I love your theme! Please post pictures when it's finished. It sounds like it will be so cute!

I took a quick little look around and didn't see as many retro things as I remembered. Maybe you'll get luck though. I remember when Restoration Hardware first came out they were almost all retro. I liked them so much better back then- you could find the neatest things.

| Here are a few fun sites I found: Retro Kitchen Accessories & Diner Kitchen Decor: Retro Planet - Retro/Vintage Home Decor Crosley Radio Reproductions Unique Gifts Tin Signs Enamelware This one has great retro signs- Retro Kitchen Decor Sign Tin Metal Porcelain Bathroom Laundry Signs Of course then it occured to me that what feels nostalgic or retro in the US might be totally different in the UK.
