The lowest in our town is $3.14 now but I'm looking forward to it dropping more. As for just HOW far it can drop..... how far do YOU think it could go? I mean, really... it soared up so fast in the last couple years that I can't even remember what was a "good price". I've been driving for 21 years now and can't remember what the price was when I started but could it possibly go down under $2 ever again, do you think?

I've been driving for, well lets say over 35 years, and in this day and time, if gas prices get back down to $2.00 a gal, that would be a miracle. I don't really think the prices will get lower than that. (Not that I wouldn't want them to) Darlene

Gas was 2.89 at Giant the other dayand I got an additional .40 off a gallon for spending lots of money on groceries.:)

yesterday in H. Mississippi it was $2.75. They say tomorrow it is going down to $2.95 in Tuscaloosa AL

Sorry to burst the bubble, but if what I heard on the news today is true, they're (the petroleum producers) are going to slow down production because gas prices have gone down. THEY'RE SO MEAN!!!!!!! I guess they thought "kick them while they're down"

Oh that gives me hope. I have seen it at $3.59 and $3.53 in Atlantic Beach, Florida. (North/East Coast) Maybe by this weekend it will go down much lower. Thanks for the input. Dar. :thumbup:
