Part of the reason gas prices are dropping is because Wall Street (stock market) is down so much. Oil was partially inflated due to futures trading on Wall Street - which drove up the price. Now, with the stock market bottoming out, then oil is coming down too. Makes me mad that the price of oil was inflated by a middle man (Wall Street) - it doesn't need to be that way!!! |

We filled up today and paid 3.69 for it and just a few blocks from my house it's 3.99. There's a shortage here in the south and I guess they have to make up the difference. :( |
Gas is finally dropping in south florida. I got some tonight after class and it was $3.55, and that\'s in a really cheap area by Fort Lauderdale. Up by Boca Raton/Palm Beach County, where I live, it\'s about $3.75. |
