| Yep, there will be more gymnastics tonight and tomorrow too - but you have to avert your eyes - because the events have again been recorded - not live like last week. The scoring on the vault last night was horrid, but I'm sorry I do not know how that Romanian girl beat Shawn on the floor either - before Shawn even went the commentators were saying that the judges weren't even counting several of Shawn's elements in her level of difficulty. It is very evident that the judges are trying to change gymnastics - there was a story in the paper about how the judges want gymnastics to change to be more dancy - -- I just do not understand this, there is already rhythmic gymnastics - I enjoy the power tumbling - I really do not care for too many dance elements in the floor routines - to be quite honest - most of these girls can't dance and they can't turn on that floor - which has been demonstrated by several, including the Chinese. Shawn's coach - usually avoids the press - but he is just baffled by the judges scoring, you can read what he told our local reporter who is in Beijing (she has followed Shawn for years) Olympics: Johnson coach Chow baffled by score | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register If you really want to see more about Shawn - and there is a ton - visit this page, with links to over 300 pictures, stories, blogs, fan maps, etc DesMoinesRegister.com | Des Moines SHAWN_JOHNSON | The Des Moines Register Ok, I know, I'm biased with my hometown girl - but praying she can pull out the Gold on the beam tomorrow!! Also, I have to brag on my other hometown girl -- Lolo Jones - she will be in the finals tomorrow of the 100-meter hurdles. She won her heat yesterday and today won again in the semi-finals - hoping she earns another Gold for the USA!!

| - here goes the lovely gymnastic judges again!!! As the commentators are saying this is crazy and oh, soooooo wrong! The Chinese put the code in the computer - what do you expect!! What a horrid way to decide a tie. Nastia was so much better than the Chinese girl who made lots of very noticeable mistakes

This judging makes me want the olympics to be over. A computer cannot judge gymnastics. And I still say if that girl was 13 last year, she isn't 15 going on 16 right now.

| So it was Australia who gave Nastia an unfair score and the tie breaking rules were applied correctly but they are ridiculous rules to begin with. That means with this tie breaking system the whole thing ends up falling on one judge and their decision.

| Wow...this is the most unfair, jacked up scoring I have ever seen in my life! They may as well just let the judges hand the medals over to who they've predecided will win and let everyone go home early! |

| My heart is just breaking for these girls who have trained practically their whole lives for this moment -- it would be one thing if they were loosing out on their own abilities -- but this is certainly not the case. I do not understand how they can bring in such inexperienced judges - that's what Bela was saying tonight is part of the problem - for goodness sake this is THE OLYMPICS!!!!!!!!!!!

| Yes, I did and that was hilarious and you're right, the faces were the best. As for the judging . Makes me sick! This is worse than the unfair judging of our figure skaters some years ago.

| The radio is on and they said (don't worry, I'm not saying) who won balance beam. Now exactly what is the point in watching it?
