I would guess that whatever she decides to do, she will forego reporting on this thread.

Emma was taken back in for surgery on Sunday and then when the stitches came loose she was taken in again. They showed her how to tube feed and gave her medication. As long as she is doing fine why should she take her in again.

I'm sure if there is any change she will take her to a vet.

That might be where she has been all day or maybe she is just getting some much deserved rest.

Is the web cam down because all of the negative comments? I really wanted to check in with Emma! She's turning into such a wiggle worm! It's more exciting to watch her everyday!! Come back webcam!

I believe she had to pick up her children and husband from a trip...not real sure but she posted that she would be gone til later this evening. For that reason, she has not posted and the webcam is shut down until they return home.

Emma IS on antibiotics, has been.

Antibiotics are being given orally and then a different one is being placed on the wounds OUTSIDE of her mouth. The cleft inside her mouth was 95%fixed after the surgery. Huge improvement.

I miss getting updates on Emma. How is she doing?? I think Dena is doing what is right for the puppy and I really am interested in her progress. That puppy is a lucky little girl to have Dena. I hate it when all the negativity comes out when someone is really trying to do a good thing. Dena I am thinking about you and Emma alot and hope to see a post from you soon. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I think alot of people are just expressing their concerns regarding the situation, which they are more than free to do. I think there are alot of people confused by these events...not everyone has to agree with it, but I have found that when members here are of the opinion that something just doesn't add up, they have no problem letting it be known and their reasons for feeling that way. This is particularly a frequent occurance when talk of money is involved and has happened many times before. The fact there there is also a very touching, emotional aspect makes it even harder to consider.

Sorry Im back I posted on this thread when it first started, But Ive been so busy with my Daughter she just had her baby and it was such a scare. all is good now and im back and have caught up on this thread. Im so sorry for all that Emma and you have been through and just wanted to let you know Im still keeping her in my thoughts and Prayers.

The majority of the people here are adult.....although I do know there are some younger ones on here....and everyone has seen enough in this thread to make their own determination regarding any issue involved here. So, whatever decision is made by them is entirely their choice. Don't you believe this is also true?

We are all capable of using our eyes to read and our brains to consider it all. Some of us also have our hearts involved. I consider this to be a good thing. For me, the heart issues are the most important ones human beings ever face in their entire lifetime. While I understand that there are some that would rather dwell on other issues, the fact is that this is about Emma.

What I decide to do, in any event, is entirely my decision. It is the same for everyone here. There is extreme evidence that this is a true event that is happening. We are each free to make our own choices about what we will do regarding it all. The images are real. The emergency is real. The expenses are real. I could no more turn away from this that I could an injured child. My love for animals is that extreme.

So my choice is to be as supportive as I can possibly be in as many ways as I possibly can. I know that I reside with the majority here. Emma is a little trooper. That she has made it this far lets me know that she wants her life. I am proud of Dena for offering her that opportunity.

I watch the animal planet channel. I have many heroes on there. I see them, every night on that show, take an animal that appears to have no chance at all and bring them back to the health they should have enjoyed all along. I recognize heroic endeavors when I see them. The most obvious to me is that they are stubborn and determined to see it through. They give up their creature comforts in order to succeed. I have seen many animals that probably would be dead now if it weren't for efforts of heroic proportions by someone that remained strong, continued the fight and beat the odds.

I am on Emma's side here. I think she is with one that will fight for her life. She is in the best place she could be. I will continue to pray for strength for Natalie to continue her best efforts, for I solemnly believe this is what they are. I will continue to pray for little Emma.

Sometimes, you just don't know where the next miracle is coming from. They don't just come from expected places.

I hope hearts get examined and that Emma's well being get placed where it should be. First.
