Misty, would you mind forwarding that awful email to me? I have a friend here who works for the OSBI (Oklahoma State Bureau Of Investigation) and I'm sure he'd easily be able to research that IP address and give you the information you need to file a report with your local PD.

a full blown investagation by someone who knows what they are doing.

To be threatened on a dog site where everyone is suppose to love their pet's
and want what is best for those they talk too is just to creepy!
I hope your able to get to the bottom of this distrubing act so you can
put your fears aside.

Not really keen on the idea of forwarding pictures of DD around anymore than they already are being done...hope you understand that. Thanks for the offer though.I am supposed to hear back again today so, we'll see. I don't feel 'threatened,' I just think it was a very mean spirited (and possibly mentally unstable!) person.

Given certain issues that we are dealing with regarding my daughter right now, it just hit a little too close to home for me.

Waiting to hear some good news about baby Emma.
Misty, you have got to get your PD to handle this. There must be some law against being able to do that to children. My niece (one of a set of twins) had a problem with emails (verbal ) while in high school and the PD found out who it was and took care of it. Good luck.

BamaFan... if i understood right? Someone from YT got a picture of ur daughter and photoshopped it so it can look like something is wrong with her face??? (Im not sure if i understood right) TERRIBLEEEEE!!!

Yes... it was a picture I posted here a looooong time ago of her and the contents of the email made it quite clear that the person had been keeping up with this thread. But I don't know if it was someone from YT or not. :( In any case, I have forwarded it to the PD, who said that they will do what they can, but doubt there will be any resolution to it...so we'll see.

That's so sad...and unnerving. Sometimes things can get so out of hand. I'm sorry that happened to you.

You could always copy and paste just the IP infoand send it to Dena so her friend could look into it. That would be the only info she should need. Just a suggestion as I would certainly want to know who is doing this if it were me.

Trust me, I definately would be interested to know who it is and am taking the proper steps to have it handled thoroughly by the appropriate authorities. I also appreciate the offers and suggestions I have recieved. :)
Again, I don't feel like I'm in danger, I think it was just someone out to upset and get a reaction.

Oh!! I am mortified! :eek: A person (?) who would do something like that needs to be put somewhere away from society. I cannot imagine how a mind could work like that. :mad::(

Since it was sent to your email address, it would have to be someone that has that information....how would they have gotten that? My mind says it has to be someone you have communicated with before or have given your e-mail address to. What about the return address?

yes, i am so sorry all this is happening..it is terrible! when all everyone wants to do is just help emma and dena and be here for them..whoever this is needs a lesson in anger management or worse! to disfigure a child in a photo is awful and disturbing:confused::mad:..i am sorry this happened to you! now, i cant wait for emmas update////hurry up vet and return her to us!!!!:D;):)

What a wonderful thing you have done for this little baby. Its too bad there are not more caring people in this ole' world like you. I think everything is getting worse everday, the cruelty, uncaring of each other not just animals. Its scary to see some of the things going on and how cruel people can be. Keep up the good work and God bless little Emma. She has alot of people rooting for her. What a sweet baby. (and mommy to care so much)

Can't you forward the email and delete the picture? I would want as much help as I could get to catch them.
I feel so bad for you, had to be a horrible shock, to say the least.
