Getting bigger She's getting bigger and stronger everyday :) |
Glad to hear that Emma is going strong this morning. Dena, you are apparently very kind hearted and have a desire to see the underdog (no pun intended) prove everyone wrong. You are going to earn a reputation as being the "Puppyfind Angel" if you are not careful...:p http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...do-please.html |
I think that some people had some very valid concerns yesterday and thats all I am going to say Im sitting on my hands I wish little Emma the best and I have watched her on live feed also and hoping the best for her |

She had a very good night... is weighing in at 124 grams this morning before her 8am feed.... The incision is healing and scabbing over (which I'm so afraid she'll rip open!) and I'm working to keep it somewhat supple while not disrupting the healing process. I have a question though.... about the tube feeding. Is it normal for the pup to have the hiccups immediately following tubing?? (I may have asked this already, but I don't recall). About every 3rd feeding or so, Emma gets the hiccups afterwards.... just for a minute or two....... she shouldn't be getting any air bubbles via the tube, but should I worry? |

Dena, I have not posted on here yet but I just wanted to let you know what a remarkable person you are. I FINALLY got onto the live feed of Emma to watch her. Unfortunatly she is asle........ OH WAIT SHE MOVED!!!!! She is just getting so big. I love reading the posts on here. Your post yesterday (the first one, the big post) brought me to tears. It was just so touching and really put into perspective what you sacrafice every day to help Emma. But I have to admit that I love the song I Will Not Be Moved. After I heard the chorus, I immediately thought of this song as Emma's theme song. She is very lucky to have you. Keep up the great work. I am excited to see how this all turns out (and for the best)! I know little Emma will survive this. She is such a little trooper! Good luck and keep up posted. I love reading your posts the most. Brit Oh and by the way, I will have the blankets out to you soon. Jack makes it so difficult to finish them. I am constantly running around after him to make sure he isn't having accidents. I wish he would take a nap so I can finish them. |
