You will love it! I didn't realize the cruise that goes to Whittier also hits Haines and Skagway. Those are two of my favorite stops, and the RR trip out of Skagway is indeed a good tip.

SukoshisMom did that same cruise a couple years ago and visited us the day she flew out. She did a zip line somewhere along the way. You might try pming her for more information.

Let me know if you get to visit Anchorage. I'm an hour from Whittier and would love to introduce you to Eddie and Jack. You could get a Yorkie fix!
