| I am SO tired and need to stay awake, anything I can do?? Anything I can do that is safe for engery? The doctor said I could be 37 weeks or 40 weeks preg. I still have a lot to do to get Sydney's area ready, but I also go to school at night 3 times a week and I am getting scared to go into town until 10:00 at night b/c I am SO tired. On the other hand I sit around until 2 a.m b/c I can't sleep......so I guess driving from school is ok, it's just when I get a wave tirdness I have to lay down almost right then. Does this sound normal??? Thanks! Clueless Angie |

| Are you taking prenatal vitamins? Also believe it or not getting some exercise (walking) will give you more energy. Betty |

| I have been walking and moving alot, but I have not been taking vitamins.....I was wondering why the doctor didn't tell me to take them, I just figured I was too far along is why. My friend was going to give me some women's vit. last night, but on the bottle it said if your preg. of nursing to consult a doctor, so I left them with her. I will try orange juice....thank you. I haven't been eating much ( once a day ) but the past few days I have eaten more and then I worry I will gain more weight that I will have to loose right at the end if I don't watch it. I maybe just need to get some fish or something like that. I know my iron is on the low/normal side right now. Also, just all the work we are trying to get done and find baby clothes, etc...is exhausting just thinking of it let alone trying to get it done. We are doing it though. I feel so bad for my husband working so hard and having to stay up way later than he is use to so he can work on Maya's and the baby's room/furniture Angie Angie |

| It's never too late to take vitamins..I can't believe your doctor didn't tell you to take vitamins ! My daughter's doctor told her to start taking the prenatal vitamin 3 months before getting pregnant!?..Everything you eat gives nutritional value to your baby and (hopefully you are eating nutritionally!) Please call your dr and tell him or her you are not taking vitamins and he will prescribe prenatal vitamins...And as for being tired, you might be need iron...Also important , lack of iron will make you tired....Don't eat meat, go for dark green leafy veggies...(iron pills can make you constipated) Sounds like you're almost ready to give birth, prayers it goes quick and you get your energy back, you're gonna need it....! Good luck, and have fun with your new baby, they grow up sooo fast....!

| Take some peppermints with you. The peppermint is suppposed to help perk you up if you eat it. It works for me!

| Maybe you need to take an occasional short nap. Being pregnant drains your energy. I hope you are eating right and getting the vitamins and minerals you need from your food if you are not taking vitamins (call your dr and ask what type to take). As for the house, lets face it-the baby is coming whether the house is ready or not-just tell her to close her eyes when you bring her home.

| Angie, if you are 37 to 40 weeks pregnant - your body needs rest. I would suggest taking lots of short naps, eating a good healthy diet and maybe some orange juice as an energy booster. Please talk to your doctor about some good pre-natal/post-natal vitamins. Good luck and I can't wait to see pics of your baby! |
