i prefer soy, but they tend to be expensive.

i buy yankee @ bed bath & beyond w/the 20% off coupon. when you use it on a scent of the month discounted scent it is really a good deal. i like almost every scent they carry.

I will second that on the CIRCLE E candles, i absolutely love them & they smell so good! my first was a cake one my mom bought me & you could smell it clear out the door, my faves are eternity, wine & roses & their best seller is birds of paradise (which is also out of this world)- I also have bought the one that smells like leather & it's very good & westerny

try these you will not be sorry, they do have a website & ship- we carry them at the beauty shop I work at.

Candles, Gel Candles, Soy Candles, Scented Candles | St. Johnsbury’s Perfect Scents

You will love them! They have a little store about 30 minutes from me, but they usually are always at craft shows! I love them! They smell just as strong as you get to the bottom of the jar. They always burn evenly. The scents are wonderful!!!!!! Yankee Candles do not even come close in comparision!

I usually by Yankee Candle -- I love the Fresh Linen scents. Makes the house smell sooo good. I used to buy Crabtree & Evelyn when they made the Rosewater, Lavender & Summer Hill scents in candles. They discontinued them, so I stopped buying from C&E. Those are my absolute favorites, though. Nothing can touch Crabtree & Evelyn's Rosewater candles!

One of my favorites is Yankee Candle- Christmas Cookie- I burn it in the foyer year round and whenever people come over they ask if I'm baking cookies- not strong- but definitely a noticeable cookie- vanilla scent. A friend gave me Voluspa candles for my birthday- my favorite scent is Snowflakes and the boxes they come in are very adorable.

And I think Trapp candles have a really big scent. My favorite of those is Tuberose.

I love that scent of root too! Also the Hosta smell!

I love Dee Jays candles out of fort worth Texas. Leather is soooo yummy!

YES! These are the best candles anywhere! They burn evenly, no waste and they have the best aromas!

I can not find them where I live so I order them online. I have one on my desk that I burned last week and everyone was wanting to know where I got it! My favorite is Apple Struedel. I love burning it in the fall, but to tell the truth I burn it all year long!

I use partylite candles in my house. I also like Pier 1 candles. Partylite candles burn pretty clean and dont make my walls black. The scent is there but not overpowering. I love lighting the 3-wick candles, its almost like having a fire place going!

The 3-wicks are pricey but well worth it in my opinion. If you hug them like it says too and burn them for 8 hours at a time like it says too, that candle burns down flat so you really get LONG life out of it!

I'm glad someone else has heard of Root candles. That Sampaquita is the yummiest smell. I hardly ever burn candles anymore because I use reed diffusers now mostly but I always recommend Sampaquita!

Yes, the Trapp candles are VERY fragrant. You're thinking of Mediterranian Fig. Like that one too but Tuberose is my all-time favorite. They do have some strange scents though.... my friend once gave me a little one called Black Pepper or something like that. It actually wasn't horrible but it was a bit weird.
