| Surprise! Meet Kanoni and Name Still to be Decided. Hubby bought them for me so I'd stop being so sad about Meisa. His intentions were good. He just didn't realize when I said I definitely wanted another "lovely bird" I mean maybe in a few months or even a year. There are two of them because they were the only two left and he couldn't stand the thought of leaving one of them behind. I am proud of him for being so compassionate and thoughtful, but there is a LOT to think about in owning two lovies. It's OK though. We'll work it out. Um, you may notice the little clippies on the front of the cage. Yeah. That's because if you ever want to do anything wild and crazy like...say...escape from prison, Kanoni is your bird! He just slides those things right up and hops on out. They are still really scared and aren't too sure if they like me. That's OK too. They are still young (less than 6 months supposedly) so we have 15 - 20 years to decide we like each other. They are creamino (I am fairly certain of it). They are the reason(s) I've been looking into and trying to understand the *ino mutations of lovebirds lately. I saw these two and thought they were really pretty. I was thinking I wanted my next lovie (that I was gonna get in about 6 mos to a year ) to maybe be a creamino. Now I have two.

| Oh, I have no idea which one of them is which. The only way I can tell them apart is that Kanoni is the one always trying to break out.

| They are so pretty! When I was deciding on a bird I was indecisive between a parrotlet and a creamino lovebird. How did you ever get them to eat (Zupreem?) pellets? I could never convince my parrotlet to eat them.

They still get seeds too. Lovebirds have LOTS of energy and need the extra fat found in the seeds. I LOVE parrotlets! I want one so bad, but there is only one (supposed) breeder anywhere close to here and she never has any babies.

| Your new lovebirds are a pretty color I have teils. My birds have been with us a long time, and we love them dearly. You have lots of toys for them, and are feeding them excellent food. How is your Yorkie liking them?

| I have 'tiels too! 5 of them to be exact. Charlotte is a normal grey and Syrus, Skye, Stormie, and Cloud are all whitefaces. S'anah is OBSESSED with the birds. If I go near the cage she jumps and jumps until I pick her up so she can see. One of my 'tiels, Charlotte, hates everyone, but when I pick S'anah up she runs over and kisses S'anah on the nose. Still haven't come up with a name for one of the lovies. Just added 4 more clips to the cage. I kept hearing this banging so I went to check on them and Kanoni is pulling and pushing and trying as hard as he can to open up the door. He couldn't get it up, but he sure was trying. I added 4 more clips just be on the safe side. I do believe I'm going to have my hands full with this one. Name Still to be Decided is very good. At least while I'm looking. Qiet, shy, and hasn't tried once to escape.

| I think so too lol It was very sweet of DH to get them. I hope the kiddos are happy with them. They will be here bright and early Monday morning. I know my own kidlets had mixed emotions about it. We all REALLY miss Meisa, but we also REALLY miss the sound of a happy, chirping lovie.
