Donating YT 500 Club Member | Is Glycerin the same as Lanolin? if you need to stay away from lanolin based lotions, are there other names I Should look for? what about mineral oil?

| Lanolin and glycerin are two very different things. Mineral oil is different still. You might do best with a hypoallergenic lotion with a glycerin base or better yet, something with a natural plant base like olive oil and vitamin E. The last GE I received a wonderful body butter made of vanilla bean, brazil nut oil and glycerin as primary products. Avoid lanolin alcohols, anything with Lanolin in the name. Everyone is different. You might need to experiment to find what works best for you. There are many sites on the web that teach you how to make your own lotion, might be fun to give those a try!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thank you so much. It's actually for a crested I brought home, I need to get his skin looking better. I feel so helpless, little guy. I need to visit a specialty store or order online.......... I just want to grab my overnight creams and lube him up but I know that's not the right thing to do.
