Nerve Study - Asking for YT family prayers
 
Tomorrow at 2:00 pm I go to the neurologist for a nerve study to determine the amount and type of nerve damage I sustained due to the 4-wheeler accident and reconstructive surgery last November.

I am very nervous about this testing -- it would be helpful to know that I am going to the Neurologist surrounded by my YT family's prayers....

Cindy, have they explained to you how they do the nerve conduction study? I have had several done on my arm and legs and just want to make sure you know what to expect, as it's not the most pleasant thing. :) Not trying to sound scary, but they are not comfortable. At least for me they were'nt, but then again I'm a wimp, lol!

:D I think they strap you down on a table, stick nails in your legs and then run the current through the nails. When smoke starts coming out of your ears and yor eyeballs start bugging out they turn it off. :D


Hubby has neuropathy and has had nerve studies done so he gave me an idea of what to expect. I am not looking forward to it, but at least I'll have an idea about where I am.
