Hubby has neuropathy and has had nerve studies done so he gave me an idea of what to expect. I am not looking forward to it, but at least I'll have an idea about where I am.

That is EXACTLY how they do it!!! But with me they waited till one of my eyeballs POPPED OUT and rolled off the table! lol!
OK as long as you have a clue, I just didn't want you walking in there with no idea. as I'm sure your Hubby can vouch they are not pleasent Be sure to let me know how it went.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow, but if you're going for an EMG or NCS, they truly aren't that bad. I can tell you that for a fact because I had them after a back injury. Just take a book you like with you, and ignore the procedures. You really will be able too. Your biggest distraction from the book will be people talking, not the tests, so just filter that part out.

Cindy, my prayers are on their way. I have a dear friend who was a passenger in car that hit a pole several years ago resulting in severe nerve damage. She has a small machine attached to her so she can administer her own pain meds directly as needed. Hopefully, you will pass your test with much better grades. God Bless.
