Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Thief Steals 2 Yr. Olds Birthday Presents. Where we went to purchase a new mattress. The store owner of the mattress store was watching her little 2 year old grandaughter while her daughter took the car to get windows put in, some one had broken the windows to steal what was in the car also all the little two year olds birthday presents I was wondering what do little ones at this age like to play with. Please give us some ideas. Jack and I want to get her something and have no idea what to get. We did get our new mattress delivered this evening so prayerfully I will be able to sleep better, I have not had one good nights sleep since the accident. Jack was tooooo funny, yesterday when we was in the store, he laid down on the one I had picked out, without my knowing it he had fallen asleep, toooooo cute. I let him sleep while the lady, I and her little grandaughter visited. I am so in hopes that this new mattress will help me to be more comfortable, trying everything before agreeing to any surgery. Thanks again everyone for your continued prayers. Thanks for any ideas. Patti and Jack Last edited by Baby Blessing; 06-26-2008 at 09:21 PM. |

| How sweet of you to get the little girl something. Two yr old are extremely advanced. At two kids are just beinging to be able to string words into small sentences. Perhaps a simple baby doll? Or some books? My nephew is just a little over two and he loves those cube things (I think they're called shape sorters) that come with the shapes inside, that you can dump out, then you have to match up the shapes to the holes in the box to put them back in. |

| Well.... I have boys but for girls, I would say dolls and barbie dolls. I would think also anything Dora the Explorer would be a hit. |

| One of Lexi favorite gifts for her 2nd birthday which was in July a few years ago was A bubble lawn mover. She loved that thing and still does. Here are a few more ideas. Baby Doll / those little baby bottles that have the milk and oj Those little Doggies you see out now w/ the little purse. (lexi still loves those) Electronic Books. That have the things at the side you can push Any of the Fisher price Little People stuff. They have the bus w/ the kids, etc. anything they can push or pull...lol hope this helps |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Hm. My little cousin just turned 3, but he's a boy, so I'm not help. But maybe something Wiggles or Dora the Explorer or Hannah Montana. That is SO sweet of you 2 to do this for her. I'm sure her family will greatly appreciate it. I hope the mattress helps your back and you are able to get a good restful night's sleep!

| My post above was supposed to say two year olds are NOT extremely advanced. Is she just now turning 2 or is she about to turn 3? A Barbie might be apporiate for a child turning 3, but definitely not for a child that is turning two. Some other things that the kids I sit for like (one is a two year)- big crayons and a coloring book or just a tablet w/ plain paper, ABC magnents for the fridge, any type of toys to play w/ in the tub, and stacking blocks are a few more ideas. |

| yeah, i wouldnt get barbi either at two years of age. id stick to dora, or stuff that she can get her little hands on but not tear apart into smaller pieces. if you look at toys, there is always a recommended age group on the boxes-i use that as a guide since i dont have kids lol.

| My granddaughter will be two in November, and she dearly loves the doll stroller, dolls, kitchen play set, wagon and the fisher price learning toys that we have gotten her. |
