| Wondering what to do with wedding dress? Hi! I thought I'd share this with everyone. This seamstress altered my bridesmaid dress and she was awesome. She told me about this organization so I could donate the ugly pink dress I had to wear. If you have old wedding dresses or bridesmaid dresses they can make good use of them. *********************************** You could certainly donate it to the Mary Madeline Project here in Omaha. They take used wedding dresses and make premie outfits for little babies that pass away. They are a Non-Profit Organization! PLEASE keep this in mind! You would be donating to a GREAT cause!! Mary Madeline Project You can send the dresses to the following addresses: Mary Madeline Project P.O. Box 6207 Omaha, Nebraska 68106 Or 2124 South 61st Street Omaha, Nebraska 68106 Here are some pictures of some of the outfits from their website that they have made already!! They are so precious!! God bless Carlin and the Mary Madeline Project for this heart warming project! THANKS!!! Hopefully this helps!!! http://images.craigslist.org/0101110...6083006bf5.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/0101110...810c00f9ff.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/0101090...cb3f00fea5.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/0101050...b145006d49.jpg |

| I think it is the best organization I've heard of in a long time. I'm in the process of gathering bridesmaid dresses and wedding dresses from all my friends. The stories on the website just touch my heart. |

| Then I went to the '"Now I lay me down to sleep" photographers site, watched the recruiting video, etc., etc. It really tugs at your heart strings. What a great service they are providingto families in need. The photos are just beautiful!! And the song is so touching... I am just a bawl baby, but this just touched me so much. My niece and her husband lost a baby. This would have been so nice. All they have is a candid photo.

I sure hope so! Here's a link for others who might want to see the NILMDTS site: Now I lay Me Down To Sleep - ~Infant Bereavement Photography~ And the recruitment video: If anyone watches these they will know why we cried...

| My girlfriend is affiliated with NILMDTS, she didn't realize there was such a need for that kind of service until she got involved. It must be hard to do but what a blessing for those in need! Great thread!

| Thank you for this great info! My mother-n-law and I have been going back and forth about what to do with my EX sister-n-law's dress. In short of shredding it and setting it ablaze in her front yard we weren't coming up with anything. I just contacted this organization! I wish I had known about it 1 1/2 years ago when my very good friend lost her baby one week from her scheduled delivery! Thank you for sharing this wonderful information!
