| kids are so funny I am keeping two of the sweetest kids this summer. J is 10 and S is 5. They honestly are very well mannered, sweet, and just the funniest things! S was in my youngest DD's pre-k class (that's how their mother and I met) and they are "best friends". Its so cute! They hold hands so much I think they may have glued them together lol. Yesterday we played dress up - complete with make up. S said to me, "When I get old like you, you know, like 48 or somethin', I'm going to have my own make!" *ahem* I am only 32! LOL Then while we were having lunch, J suddenly panicked and asked if I put salt in his food. I told him no and he looked relieved and told me he was glad because he forgot to tell me he can only have "low fat salt" on account of his cholestrol! S also told me that is very unhealthy to be squishy (that is her word for "fat" because its rude to call people fat). If you get too squishy and stay that way for two long your bones will fall out! We are going to the library today for story time. They are really excited and are being even better behaved than normal! They are definitely my kind of kiddos!

| Where were you when my kids were little and I needed a sitter? Out of the 10 or so summers, we had maybe 2 that my kids loved to go to. They are lucky to have someone who finds them funny and sweet. I hope you all have a wonderful summer!

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | OMG you think my kids can hang with those so they can learn to play nice. OMG mine have been driving me bonkers with their fighting (12, 9 and 4). I threatened to send them all to my parents to live for six months. I haven't heard so much whining and b!t@hing in the longest while.

| LOL this is the first summer I've kept kids on a daily basis. We sat down TOGETHER on their first day here and wrote down the rules (and S and DD decorated it) and everybody signed it. Then everyone was introduced to two things - reward stickers and the time out chair. So far its been smooth sailing. I think I'm actually going to be sad when the summer is over.
