| Who is making dinner? Here it is Tuesday and the potroast we were going to have yesterday hubby took and made into a soup. He used to call it stew but that's one of the few things about him that I've been able to change. He actually does ok. Sometimes it needs a little seasoning but not too much too often. My only major complaint is that he cuts the meat big enough to choke a horse. I always ask him if he's cutting horse meat. LOL One of these days I'm going to have to give him the him hiemlic(can't spell it good enough to use the spell checker, LOL) maneuver. |

| Maybe he's making what Rachel Ray on the Food Network calls Stoup - half stew, half soup! Almost 20 years ago when my now husband and I first set up housekeeping, we agreed that since we both work he would do all laundry and I would do kitchen duty. A better deal I've never made! While I must admit I love the kitchen (and HATE laundry) and I'm a very good cook, he's not a picky eater. In the early years, given our long working hours and budget constraints, it was harder than it is now. Now it's more often take-out than home cooked. But at least it's GOOD take out!! If the food were up to him it would be hot dogs, junk food and ice cream! izza: opkorn: At least thats what he always brings home when he goes to the store!! LOL I count my lucky stars!!
