| mini cooper Yesterday we went to Mini-Cooper Festival in Boston. I guess they are having these in Chicago in July and LA in August.. IT wasn't that many people.. but we got to test drive different cars... like 5 times.. And I loved it! My bf said that i drove the slowest.. out all the drivers... Anyway it doesn't matter.. I had a good time. We have been thinking about Clubman S but it becomes really pricey when you add some necessary stuff... Does anyone has Mini-Cooper or Mini-Cooper Clubman?

| After my b/f totaled by Lexus...I seriously considered a MINI. They are cute and get great mileage. After I did the research and spoke to MINI owners I found out they are not always too reliable. I drive I-95 to work everyday and work late at night and could not take a chance of breaking down.

| I LOVE how they look when I see them on the road!! So cool! But, I never really saw one up close or looked into the reliability or anything. They just seem SO small. I would feel like I was sitting on the ground!

| OOOOHHHHH I LOVE LOVE LOVE my 2006 Mini Cooper S. I bought a 2006 because they changed the body styles in 2007 and I didn't like the new ones. My Cooper is Hyper Blue. Buying the Cooper was in incredible experience. I had been looking for a llllooonnnggg time. As luck would have it, my hubby found EXACTLY what I was looking for on ebay -- we called the dealer, he flew Ron and me out to Texas where I met my frister, Patty58, her daughter Barbi, and one of her adorable granddaughters, Karris. We had a hug-fest, a great visit, a fantastic lunch and then Barbi drove us to the dealer where we bought the Cooper and drove it home. There are two inanimate objects in my life that make me smile every single time I see them. My Cooper is one and my logo/avatar (logo by Sandshara) (avatar = logo jazzed up by Peanut). I am glad you had fun at the Rally. I fell in love with Coopers when I went to Cortiod, Switzerland to visit my husband when he was working there several years ago. They used Mini Coopers as their police vehicles. Last edited by chattiesmom; 06-22-2008 at 01:03 PM. |

| Oh, I love Mini Cooper!!! My first car was a 2005 mini cooper (red) then I recently traded in and bought a 2008 Mini Cooper S (black)! They are GREAT car!!! I love "S" a lot because of the power!!! I also test drove and had the clubman for a day, but didn't like it as much because of the look.....too long and not as cute..but that is just my opinion....I was going to get a convertiable...but didn't like how narrow the back windows.... Anyway, Mini Cooper is an AWSOME car!!!! Also, it is a SAFE car..but don't think it isn't because of its size!!! They are much stronger than you think!!! | That is the problem..here is Indiana..we only have ONE mini dealership. I did have some problem with the salesperson, but I didn't have a choice since I wanted the car! Maybe you could travel to different state to buy it also....but just remember about the sales taxes..... |

| We went to a dealer yesterday and did a test drive of clubman. Awesome! The dealer was much nicer than I expected.. well actually much much nicer than a review I read.. so I was happy. Only thing is you can order in a month for 2009 model and it will be ready in November... We wanted to start driving a new car in summer not in winter... but... see that might be how it goes... We had good amount of space in the backseats... maybe because we are short people
