What a wonderful ending for such a horrible situation! How could anyone be so heartless and cruel? God bless you for helping this baby and finding the perfect home for her! She will be near you and you can keep up with her happy life! :) |

So glad that this has a happy ending. It is a shame that the old owners were like that. There is no excuse whatsoever to do that. Even in the worst of circumstances surrender to a proper facility should always be the answer, not just tying the animal somewhere not knowing if anyone would stop to take care of it or investigate it. Having said that, at least the owners did not dump the dog some out loose to be able to be hit by a vehicle. And they did drop of the dogs belongings. While I don't agree with what they did, they had their reasons for it. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt that their circumstances may be in the best of shape. You never know what goes on behind closed doors. |
Oh and incase anyone is wondering how the check up went ... The vet said Sadie is about 2 years old from the look of her teeth. She is most likely a pure bred papillon (he said he also has one too :)). She did get her rabies shot just incase. And overall everything looks great. Her nipples were a bit odd. He doesn't know if she may be pregnant he said we have to wait and see. She is not spayed. My neighbors decided to re-name her Coco. They bought a bunch of stuff from Target for her. Very cute! And I also had some extra stuff that were too big for Evie. So she has a little start on her doggy wardrobe. My neighbors said they will definitely do a follow up with pregnancy thing and if worst comes to worst they will probably terminate the pregnancy and have her spayed. |

I am so glad she found forever home. Yay! :yay_jump::yay_jump::yay_jump: |
Yay! I am so happy to read that Sadie (Coco) has a new forever home where she will be loved and spoiled! It just makes me so mad that her old owners could do that. You know, that's how we got Caillou (9 - 10 wk old chi pup). Someone dumped him ans his 2 sisters in my outside garbage can! They were only 2 - 3 weeks old. Unfortunately his two sisters didn't make it. But omg how hard would it have been to just knock on my door and explain the situation. I would have taken them in. Some people just blow my mind. |
