Hmmm, is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? Lol;) Sounds to me that maybe Sadie was sent to you for more than just any ole reason, maybe she needs you and you need her? Just something to think about;)

Awww .... that is very true. Someone did take the time to train her and did an excellent job in doing so. I'm sure Sadie was truly loved at one point and that is probably why she is crying and sad. There must be some sort of hardship going on in their household. And I am just glad they did tie her up so she didn't get hit by a car trying to go home.

I had not thought of anything like that....The person that did this definitely had to be a mean person.....Poosdarling bless your heart.....you were sure handed a lot of responsibility. Sadie sounds like such a sweetheart, and you definitely are too for taking such good care of her! Keep us posted about little Sadie.....sounds like there is more than one option for this little girl.

What a bunch of scum sucking pieces of sh!t. At one point someone loved her enough to teach her and chip her..why treat her like that. At least surrender her to rescue so they will get her a new home that will love her (UUUMMM that is ME!!!!). How do you just leave her there to chance like that. Bunch of bastards. May they step in dog sh!t every time they walk anywhere in this lifetime. Poor baby.

Ah poor Baby :( But is sounds like Sadie will have a great home now. ;)

She looks just like a long haired chi I know.. same ears, snout everything.
What did the vet say about her breed?

well it is a sad story with a happy ending so far... and at least the previous owners cared enough to tie the dog to the fence so she would be found, and not run in the street to get hit by a car, and not dump her in the woods somewhere.. they searched out a good looking puppy home, and they cared enough to train her, and they cared enough to send dog food and the old dog bed... and toys too.. someone loved that dog a lot... its not right, but it could have been a lot worse for the poor puppy... maybe they were going through a divorce, or another tragedy... we will never know i guess.. that is one lucky dog:animal-pa

I personally don't give a damn what their problems are. When you accept the honor of being a pet owner it's your job to do everything in your power to care for them. They are just helpless children with fur. It's all good because god doesn't like ugly and they have some good karma coming their way in the future.

No matter what kind of tragedy or family issues anyone is having, there is NO excuse in the book for abandoning a helpless animal. For Heaven's sake, it doesn't take that much time or energy to find a home for a housebroken, little, young dog. Or at LEAST drop it off at a pound or shelter and pay the 30 bucks. just try SOMETHING to find it a home. It doesn't matter if they thought they were dropping her at a good home (and thank GOD they did), anyone could have picked her up and who knows what would have happened.

They are mindless idiots and they don't DESERVE dog. Especially Sadie. If someone loved this dog and it was taken from them, that is just devestating and I'm sorry for them. But if this is just a couple or whatever going through a rough patch...NO EXCUSE.

God bless you for taking in Sadie. I hope you can either keep her or find her a home (I think Beth is already in love lol).

My neighbors came by last night. They have decided to take Sadie. I got to keep her for one more night since they wanted to do some shopping for her today and get the house ready for her.

I guess everything turned out well. I'm sure she will be super loved since the husband is a stay at home. And Sadie will be the only pup so she will get all the attention and love.

I'm really glad Sadie has found a forever home. I am going to give her a bath later so she can smell all yummy when she goes to her new home. :p

I'm glad everything worked out for her in the end. I'm a firm believer in things happen for a reason. She didn't belong in her other home, for whatever the reason may be.

Aweeee, well I'm glad Sadie found a good forever loving home, and it sounds like she'll be mighty spoiled by her new Mommy and Daddy being an only pup! Hope to hear updates on her often!! God bless you for helping Sadie to have a better life.

I am stunned.. and I do hope the police charge them for doing this to a dog.. it does make one wonder why they chose you tho.. word maybe has it around that your great with animals... what a sin.. trying to be nice here..
