| ![]() They taste just like regular peanut butter cookies but so much easier. We had creamy peanut butter so that's what I usd and it worked just fine- just no crunch of course. I honestly could not believe such a simple recipe produced perfectly yummy cookies.

| ![]() I forgot all about this post. I got busy and poor Andrew never got his cookies. Oh well. ![]() Here is a great recipe that I got the other day. We had a friend make them for us and they are sooooooooooooooo good! These easy treats are made with graham crackers, pecans, and a caramel mixture made with butter and brown sugar. Cook Time: 12 minutes Ingredients: 1/2 cup melted margarine 1/2 cup melted butter 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 18 graham crackers, halved Preparation: Directions for caramel graham cracker cookie bars. Combine margarine, butter, brown sugar, and pecans in a medium saucepan. Bring to a full boil; boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Set the caramel mixture aside. Line a jelly roll pan, 15x10x1-inch, with graham crackers. Spoon boiled butter and sugar mixture over graham crackers. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cut caramel graham cracker cookie bars into squares. Makes about 36 caramel graham cracker bar cookies. |
