I need cookie recipes! I know there are plenty online, but I like to use ones that I know people have actually tried and worked. I like to send my bf cookies every so often, the only thing is he doesn't eat chocolate and all the recipes I normally make have chocolate in them. I usually send him sugar cookies, but I really want to try a few different things if anyone has any good recipes. Thanks!:D |
Easiest cookie ever: 1 cup extra crunchy peanut butter 1 egg 1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla Beat all together until well mixed. Drop by spoonfulls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press top with fork and bake at 350 until lightly browned on top. DELICIOUS! I can't keep 'em on hand when I make 'em! |

Anyone else got any yummy recipes? I like to send him more than one kind at a time so he has a variety. |
I don't have the recipe handy, but I love peanut butter criss cross cookies. Most of the recipes are fairly generic. |

How about snickerdoodles Ingredients • 1/2 cup butter, softened • 1 cup sugar • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar • 1 large egg • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour • 4 Tablespoons granulated sugar • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add the 1 cup sugar, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well blended. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer, and stir in remaining flour. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour. Combine the 4 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat. Place balls of dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes or until edges are beautifully golden. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool. I'm still having a REALLY hard time with the chocolate comment..have you thought long and hard about this relationship:D |

there is a really good website out there called allrecipes.com-i use it all the time to come up with dinner ideas, or things for parties. i love that site. im sure some of the ladies here are members and can tell you there are endless recipes there.. |
This was given to me by a student after I LOVED the cookies she gave me. SUPER easy. 1 cake mix 1 bag chip (chocolate, cherry, p-nut butter, etc) 3 eggs 1/2 c oil 1/2 c nuts optional Mix together. Will be thick. Drop by teaspoon (I use a cookie scoop that is bigger than t.) Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool, store in an airtight container. These are a thick soft cookie The original recipes called for chocolate cake and chocolate chips, but I have experimented with different cake flavors and chip. Use whatever flavors you like. I have even used a spice cake with raisins instead of the chips. |
Try searching for "holiday recipe"-we posted a lot of cookie recipes around the holidays, and a lot of them could probably be adapted for any time of year :) Happy baking! |
Do you like cookies you decorate, sugar cookies? I got a real good recipe off of here last year for the cookies and the icing I could look it up and post it |
