| How can I make a lot of money fast? I need about $800. Getting a job is not an option so what are some other ways. I am getting a yorkie, but my Dad is going to pay for some of it. I would really appreciate your help with this situation. Please and thank you!! |

| I agree with those suggestions. Great ideas! You may also try selling your unwanted items on ebay or craig's list.

Because once you get that puppy - you'll need money for the vet - money for food ...and money for any emergency that pops up - and believe me - the way people are breeding these days there easily could be an emergency you aren't prepared for... then .....there's always standing on a good street corner with a sign - you know - like the ones that say - "Please Donate - NEED BEER" ! ...oh wait -I think they say - "Help - Homeless - need FOOD".

when I see the chubby people begging for food ...they don't get any $$ from me - but some really look like they're hurting and I'm a sucker ...I usually empty my change cup even though I KNOW they go straight to the Beer store

| Consider also the vet fees, dog foods, etc. Not just the cost of the yorkie itself. |

| I would definitely make sure that I could afford the support of my pet before splurgiing on one. My little guy was a total surprise and thank goodness we are able to take of his needs such as vet, good food, medications and then the fun stuff like clothes and toys. If you are in such a dire strait to raise money for him now, what will happen when he needs his shots? They are cheap! I wish you luck in making your money.

| All kidding aside, I agree with the other post about waiting...if you can't afford something..you don't get it. Plain and simple. Save your money that way you can be picky about which yorkie you want. If getting a job isn't an option than I'm not sure that you need to be owning an animal that is going to need to be fed and cared for...which requires more money. Sounds like a potential disaster for the puppy....

But I agree~ you can't imagine how awful it is if anything untoward happens to your little one and you don't have the funds available to take care of them. There is no worse feeling in the world and let me tell you~ even taking them to low cost clinics is still costly and it all adds up. It's amazing what crazy things can happen to these little ones, so you really need to take that into consideration. Just read the posts about congenital problems (which are usually VERY expensive to diagnose and then treat) and just accidents that happen. You may think you're diligent in watching them, but it's just amazing the things that just "happen". You don't want to be in the situation where you can't take care of them if "stuff" happens.

| Just read the posts about watery/bloody stools that are cropping up A LOT lately (nevermind possible congenital diseases or an extreme like a dog attack or a broken bone due to jumping off something). One trip to the vet for my guy to find nothing was wrong but an upset stomache was $170. The costs of vet care are ridiculous, but you cannot just leave your pup sick. I often think about trying to rescue a dog from a yorkie rescue, but the thought of the expenses of another dog I think is beyond my means. I'll have to wait until I get a gigantic raise or a second income!
