| You should go to a basement area if you have one or go to the inner most area of a home, away from windows, closet, under steps, etc.. We went through this twice this week here in the Cincinnati area. Please keep us posted! If you have a radio bring it with you to listen for updates. Stay calm, I know that's hard!

| Ok, well stay away from the windows, best to go in the bathroom and actually into the tub area. What floor are you on? Are the sirens still going off? They do issues sirens for tornados and thunder storms, so I would keep listening to the news to make sure what they are issued for.

| Marci, maybe you need to call the desk and ask if there is a storm shelter in the area. I sure hope you are safe enough. I wouldn't be too concerned about Layla barking right now especially since your watching a pup for a friend who went out to bring back something to eat. |

| Marci - go into the bathroom. Keep the door closed and actually get into the tub. If you can, turn on the TV as there should be a scroll across the bottom of the TV telling you what the warnings are - or turn on the radio. Be safe!!!!!!

| Well that's good, it's not a good idea to be on a high floor. I would just stay in the bathroom area and listen for updates. We have had really scary weather in Ohio this week, it's just been awful! Our three babies have had the worst time all week!

a little while ago all the channels were taken over with the warning but it hasn't happened in about 10 min. The weather channel still says we have a warning but nothing is going on outside.. oh and there is the siren again | |

| It's usually very calm, almost still before a tornado, but hopefully it's just passing on. I just looked on the weather site and it's still saying a warning in that area. I clicked on what else to do, it says it's good to have your pet on a leash or in a carrier. Thank Goodness Layla is calm. We put ours in their crates when the sirens went off and that helped keep them calm.

I'm sure you will be fine! Like I said before, just keep watching/listening to the news and stay away from the windows and if the sirens go off, I would go into the bathroom/tub area. It's always better to be cautious!! All this heat and humidity it causing all this wacky weather!

| I just looked on the weather site and it now looks like they are just saying a thunderstorm watch, hopefully that's what the local news is now telling you! They may issue sirens for severe thunderstorm warnings too, so if you hear them again, it might not be for a tornado!
