Denise -"Gizmo's Mom's" grandbaby critical in ICU
Please pray for Denise's grandbaby NATHAN who is very sick little boy (6 years old) in ICU. She has been keeping me updated on his condition:
"Just got home from work not long ago. Nathan has been put in the cardiac icu. His heart rate stayed steady at 200 for quite a while. They had to put in a central line so he could have stronger meds. He was critical for quite a while but now were able to sedate. The doctors, of which he has many now, are saying they feel a virus is attacking Nathan's heart. He is on massive amounts of antibiotics. My son was told that this medicine that is slowing his heart could possibly make him stop breathing,but no other choice. Could possibly end up on vent. That's all I know for now hun, thanks for letting me spew". :animal-pa

This was her latest update..last night at 8:29 pm:
"Thanks, Ines. I hadn't posted cause I really had no idea where to begin but I don't mind. I sign on to yorki talk quite a lot because everyone seems to care about each other so much. Hard to think clearly right now, proly just lack of sleep. The lil' brother I think is coming down with an ear infection. Gotta run down to the dollar store and grab some baby tylenol. Tried some benedryl but it went everywhere but his mouth. he ain't having it. I tell you he is a live wire. My son is being good about calling with updates. They gave Maggie, his wife, something to calm her. The hospital is trying to find them a room, but I know neither will leave him. So sorry to hear about your husband and glad he did well. I know the same will be the outcome for Nathan. I feel better for writing you. Have a restful night friend, have one for me.
