YT 500 Club Member | Very Sad Warning! I work with adoptive families, and one of them lost their 2 1/2 year old son last night. On Sunday evening, he was pulled from their swimming pool after he was found there after being in the water for 5-10 minutes. I am so sad. For everyone who loves a little child, please watch them around water this summer, and have a very safe summer.

| Oh that's sad. I always hate hearing stuff like this. I couldn't even imagine. Blessings for the family.

| That is so sad. I worry about my boys even though they are 20 and 16 because they cannot swim. I can't either. My 16 year old is going to a birthday party this Saturday and it is a pool party. He said the parents will be there but I just worry!

| I'm sure that working through the adoptive process with the child and the parents makes this especially difficult for you. I am so sorry.

| That is just horrible... I'm so sorry for those who loved and cared for that little one.... The same thing happened a few years ago to a family I knew in Florida... They had workers going in and out doing some repairs on the back patio / pool area.... had gone off to lunch and left the door just barely ajar... 2 year old little boy got outside, fell into the pool - and drowned.... It was mother's day....

Donating YT 14K Club Member | How horrible! The little ones can't resist swimming pools and don't realize the danger they can be. God bless that family...such a terrible tragedy. Thanks for the reminder!
