That's the thing, I'm completely a right brained person at heart - so it's so weird that I went to nursing school and did well in science! When all along, the artist inside me was screaming "you're KILLING me with chemistry!!!!!!!" lol!!

No, I didn't see, it, you have added so much since I last read, I'll have to check it out. You definitely have a gift for writing. I've got to say, with the incredible pictures and the provocative descriptions, it a really difficult read if you're hungry. I love reading about food though.

I think nurses tend to go into the field because they want to "help others" not so much because they are science oriented. I've heard a few complain that after all their schooling they found they were actually working little with patients, but doing mostly paperwork.

Exactly, on the nursing. While I'm not doing it now - the only thing I truly miss is being able to help others. When I was working at the Veterans Hospital as a student - my favorite thing to do was to sit with the Veterans who had ZERO visitors - and just chat. You'd be shocked at how many folks had no one, just no one (actually, you probably wouldn't be) - and how the smallest gesture could make the biggest differences. That's what I miss.
