This is a picture of Murfee's backyard...ours goes all the way back to the house behind. The second is a picture from our front porch.

My backyard is a work in progress. I've been here 2 years now. There were trees growing all the way up to and touching my house when I bought it. I had all the trees removed except for what you see here.

My son and I have been planting stuff for a month now and I can't wait until it all starts coming up. My Dad made the adirondack chairs for Christmas a few years ago.

I do enjoy it but it is very flat and only a couple of trees. I love all the pictures above of lush back yard with lots of trees. I miss trees!!!

You guys with yards are so lucky! I don't have one, i live in ny in an apt. lol but one day i do want to buy a house with a huge back yard and want to put in a raised 3 level pond, i love looking at landscaping books in barnes & nobles. And make it dog friendly, thats my dream!!

I definitely think it's pretty! And it is SO different-looking from what I am used to as an 'east coaster'. I was amazed when we drove to Las Vegas a few years ago...the scenery was so foreign, but beautiful! I brought back pretty rocks!

I personally think that the desert is beautiful! One time me & dh drove from Cali to Texas, & we went through a lot of desert areas, & it was soooo beautiful. I took so many pictures, lol.
