| Where have the years gone? I went from talking about raising babies to lowering my cholestrol it seems within 24hrs I'm working with whatGod gave me and trying to make the best of it. Growing old gracefully is truly a challange ![]() My dermatoligist said that most of the higher end products on the market today are worthless! Stick with Ponds, Oil of Olay and drink lot's of water. Of course genes play a major role too. I would be too afraid to go under a knife or get injections for wrinkles. I rather just admit I earned every darn wrinkle I have. I think attitude helps us stay younger too. Try and believe your not as old as you are, if your believe it then so will other's. I think |

| No prescribed medication for the osteoperosis. I had read about too many problems and side effects with them. Unfortunately, my osteoperosis was caused by having to be on Prednisone on and off for many years for Crohn's Disease. If they had known back then what they know now, they would have told me to take Calcium with Vitamin D while on the Prednisone. They didn't know about the long-term side effects at that time. So, I started doing a lot of walking and taking the vitamins, and it worked. It's important to get the Calcium WITH Vitamin D because they work together.

| I should have taken out the "extended warranty" after 50! Have osteopenia, and take one of those medicines, plus calcium and Vit D. Also went to a Hair Doc.. guess what.. now I am losing my hair as well! Before you get old --you get everthing..after 50, they start taking it all away!

| Drink lots of water and stay out of the sun! I have never been a sun person and am almost 51 with no wrinkles at all. I DID have a "LIfestyle Lift" - to remove a double chin that's genetic. If you ever decide to have a little "something" done, that's the way to go. It nowhere near as expensive as a full face lift, but your neckline gets a dramatic overhaul! The surgeon who did mine told me I had great skin and wanted to know what moisturizer I use and it's Oil of Olay. I've been using it since I was a teenager.

| Exfoliation! It really helps keep your face looking fresh, glow-y and will keep the small lines at bay. I have used fruit enzymes as well as the neutrogena machine type and they both do a fine job. Once a week---but truth be told, since I started doing OCM and using Grapeseed, Hemp or Jojoba oil drops for a moisturizer a couple months ago------I don't see a need for a weekly exfoliation. More like once a month now. I'm 46. |

It's advertised that you can go right back to work - NOT -. I was out of work 2 weeks when I had it done, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

| I use Olay a lot of the time, too. Lately I have been using some products from DHC FOR BEAUTY AND HEALTH: Skincare. Most of the products are olive oil based. I can't believe how my skin feels after using some of the products. The deep cleanser is SO nice and gets my skin so clean - not a trace of make up or dirt left. The service has been really great so far, too. They always send out samples with their catalogs and if you order, you get to choose 4 samples, too. That's how I got hooked - the samples they sent to me. ![]() The link doesn't seem to be working, but you'll be able to find them. |
