I have decided that after years of coloring my hair, I'm going to bite the bullet and accept the gray. My hair will look healthier, as the color destroys it (I have fine hair). At least I'll have good skin, right?

| Oh, I hear ya! I will turn 50 this year, and I feel more like 80 most days. I have health issues, which doesn't help. Menopause doesn't help either grrrrr. I have found that exercise, proper diet, and drinking lots of water helps you feel soooo much better. I'm limited in what I can do for exercise right now, but walking is one of the best things you can do. In fact, I had a bone scan a few years ago which showed I had osteopenia....then it went to full blown osteoperosis. My dr. told me to do weight bearing exercise, especially walking! So, I started walking and I was able to reverse the damage, along with taking Calcium with Vitamin D (important that you have BOTH together). I no longer have osteoperosis!! ![]() Ok, I got sidetracked.....it happens when senility kicks in. Neutrogena makes some really good facial creams.

| Its funny to think about now. But, I use to think why mom and dad and all other older people seemed to talk about was high blood pressure, cholesdrol, blood sugar etc. I thought couldn't they think of something else to be interested in. Well, guess who is talking about blood pressure, and all the other aches and pains now. lol!!! I have always heard too that some to the cheaper creams etc. are just as good as the expensive ones. Hdyrdration is what important. Stay out of the sun and Witch Hazel makes an excellant asraingent. |

| I am now 50 something...and it's starting to take it's toll. So I too am open for suggestions. I drink nothing but water and skim milk...so I don't need to be hydrated. But I am fair skinned...I've endured many years of freckles and sunburns in hopes of getting a tan...wrong thing for me to have done...but too late now. The damage is there, I just need to slow down the process.

| If there was a miracle creme we would all be into that. But I have found its hard to fight what is coming. You have to smile and realize its not the spring chick she was a few years ago. Oh and how my bones and body feel older than I am everyday. Good luck with the search for the miracle!!!!

That is SO true!!! I can remember taking my grandma shopping, and she would run into someone she knew, and it would be like "well ya know, he has had problems with high blood pressure and I'm on heart medication"....I would be like ![]() Can we go home now??? I was probably 19 at the time.I ran into the mother of one of my son's friends at the store a few months ago, and we talked about our aches and pains and how much it sucks getting old lol

| I have found the most amazing skin care products. I have tried EVERYTHING on the market. Including the more expensive from department stores. I tried to like Estee Lauder. Nope. I used Jaffra for a bit and tried to be encouraged. Then I accepted the fact that it wasn't for me. I moved on to Mary Kay. Then, in desparation, on to Avon (because my daughter was selling it )....and every product in between all of those.I am allergic to mineral oil and anything with that in it causes me to break out so badly with little blisters that I have to use steroid cream to clear it up. Then, all the skin on my face dies and falls off. ![]() My face is dry in spots, so bad that it 'flakes' and I couldn't even use soap without having a bad reaction. A friend once gave me a bar of soap that was made from goats milk and I did like it more than any other I had tried, but she couldn't remember where she got it. It was one of those 'made at home' soaps. Last week, I decided to try something that a friend recommended to me. I wasn't really expecting good results. Just an 'okay....I will try this one more time' thing. And now...OH MY GOSH! It is marvelous. I love the soap. No tight dry feeling. The cleansing oil is so wonderful! The toner is amazing and the moisturizer is a dream. If anyone is interested, let me know. I am just so very ecstatic with these products. Maybe now, I will actually be able to try some new make-up. Haven't been able to wear it because of all the problems I was having with just daily skincare problems. I was too afraid of make-up. Now I think I am going to go with Bare Minerals since my skincare problems have been solved. I am just happy, happy, happy! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Oil of Olay works for small lines(for me neways) I have a really bad habit that contributes to a lot of small lines and wrinkles and Oil of Olay products works the best. Seems like when I hit 40 (almost 45 now)everything fell apart; eye sight, bulging disc, early peri-menopause, wrinkles, weight gain....blech!! |
