My brother, is lucky to be alive..not because of his health issues, but I just about KILLED him.
He has survived cancer surgery, chemo, radiation and a total hip replacement, in the last 3 yrs.
The meds from chemo etc..caused cateracts on both eyes to the point he could barely function...BUT refused to have surgery..after all he had endured I do not understand why he was so afraid of this surgery....I literally had to force him to go...I threathened to not answer the phone until he made an appt,...so he makes an appt..and then the morning of the surgery he backs out.

So I had to go to Alabama and all but drag him to the car and into the hospital. I threathened to bypass the eye clinic have him committed to the mental ward if he refused to do it....well, it is over and he can SEEEE out of one eye...he said it was painless, simple and quick...and promised to go next month for the other eye..in fact he told the DR he could come next week, but he must wait a month..

I spent the next two days listening to him marvel at all the stuff he had missed in the last year..he had no idea there was a stop sign at the end of his road...and he found grey hairs in his beard!!! LOL

I may be off line until Wed or so..having connection problems..again thank you all so much for your kindness and prayers...sorry this is so long.
