My Gramma is in the hospital.
 
And I am falling apart right now. They took her to the hospital. It is not good. She started Chemo on Monday. She was doing so well I talked to her Monday night and she was so positive.
This morning She was hurting really bad and could not breath. She went to the hospital via ambulance. It is not good you all..:cry8:

Will you please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I will definitely say a prayer for your grandmother and also the rest of your family. I will pray for the peace that your grandma needs to feel and the healing that you and your family need for your hearts.

Awww I am so sorry. I hope her pain has eased. IT is NEVER easy to watch someone you love suffer!
I lost my mom to cancer when I was only 24. There is so of many things in my life she missed. At the end, it was a little easier to let go because I just wanted peace for her. Keep us posted.

So sorry to hear of your gramma, Lori! We will definitely pray for comfort and peace for her during this difficult time. Hopefully, they can give her something to ease the pain. please keep us posted!

I'm so sorry about your Grandmother........I know it's so hard especially when your not near, it's so frustrating when we feel helpless in these situations.....I will be wishing her well and wishing for her to gain the strength she needs......

Thank you everyone for all your Prayers. I think really all we can do now is pray that her pain will go away. Dr told my mom that she may start to feel better but she will not get any better.

The Chemo Treatments they were giving her were to help her feel better. I didn't understand this. I thought Chemo could make you "feel" worse.
She said that the chemo they were giving her is what they call a "cocktail"? they said she has lass than 6 months.

My mom is falling apart she has been so strong though all this. My poor little sister is trying to be everyones wall to lean on. And I think she is about to crumble too.

Please continue to keep Gramma in your prayers. I just want her to not be in pain.

Lori, I think there are so many different versions of what is called Chemo and some of it isn't as bad as it was years ago. I am so sorry you are so many miles from those that you long to be with. I will pray also for your mom to be strong - how incredibly stressful for her.

Just 15 mths ago I watched my mom and her siblings go thru the death process with my grandmother. It hurts so bad, and I still feel like I am missing a huge part of my life without my grandmother. But I also know how incredibly hard it still is on my mom - as she puts it, she has good days and bad days.
