| ![]() I personally don't like wal mart. I can't stand shopping there!!! With the gas prices now a days, it's not even worth it going to the closest wal mart, you can get the same stuff at the grocery store or shop online with no shipping and no taxes and you still save money.

| ![]() Thanks for your efforts to educate others of this Giant Bully! This company is also known to bully the American industry by using the its their way or no way policy! I think everyone needs to open their eyes to the full picture here!

| ![]() I work for Wal-mart. There are several things that I don't like but there are alot of things that are great. I don't agree with what the execs or family makes but every company out there is proboly the same. There has been alot of upgrades to the ins and all that since those figures you have for 2005 and 2006. It changes every year. The company that my DH works for just sent more of their jobs to China-just last year send alot to Mexico. So it is every company. The average wage you gave in the other post is about the starting wage at my store and I live in podunk S IL. My dad has work for a mom and pop company for over 35 years and is making just about 1.50 more than me and I have been there 12 years. He pays about 125.00 a week(i think it just went up again) for his insurance with a 1000.00 ded. His ins sucks!!! I think some of the ones that filed in that lawsuit needed to get there head out of their butt. If they paid any attention to the company policies they would know if someone told you to work off the clock or skip lunch or break that you report them to the higher ups. I understand they were possibly threatened with being fired but all it would take was one phone call and that manager would not be there anymore. We have phone numbers for everyone all the way up to the CEO. I have seen numerous people that skip breaks and then gripe that they had too. No you don't you stop take your break if they yell at you you make phone call. These managers that bully in their stores are usually scared of the higher ups. They should have been the ones to pay for that lawsuit. The fund for associates is actually donated by management only. Hourlys don't contribute to this. Anyway that is JMO and you don't have to agree but there is a different side to the story. You can usually just find the bad stuff. Thanks Jamie and Hunter ![]() |

| ![]() wow I knew that Wal mart uses sweat shops. But thats all I really knew. My mom had told me about it. I don't shop there either way, I think it's gross. But all that just makes me like them even less.
