Ok we had a water rate hike last spring of 11%. I just saw that they passed a hike of 14.5%.
It's really getting rediculous in NY. How do they expect people to live. The funny thing is that these hikes are due to folks that have money and own property and rental property not paying their bills. They have huge bills and now we the regular folks that actually pay our damn bills are getting punished.
It's so frustrating. It seems every time you have a dollar someone has their hand out for it.

I agree that we are taxed much to much here in NY. I sometimes think that too many people have their hands out and it's getting so ridiculous that the rest of us are starting to have a hard time making ends meet.
