I sold a mini fridge on craigslist. Someone came to pick it up oh and also a bunny rabbit. They had another one and sent me pics and stuff

Hmmmm. interesting! I have my nice Gateway desktop I was going to list on ebay..... I wonder if Craigs list would be better?

Craigs list is pretty cool. My fiance uses it every time he is looking for something or wanting to sell something and he always seems to do it. Good luck!

I had my laptop up on there for a month and only had either scammers or people who were out of my area interested in it. So i didn't end up selling it to any of them... it's still for sale if anyone is interested... :P

This is my advise....

Don't do this for only 10 bucks...put a decent price on your items because people are going to bargain with you and you can always come down.

Try to screen the people who contact you by getting THEIR phone number & CALLING it - that way you have a record of their number just in case

ALWAYS HAVE A CELL PHONE IN YOUR HAND when they come to your home...

IF you can - have someone there with you when selling

MEET THEM OUTSIDE ...What I did was bring things to my front steps when I knew someone was coming to see unless it was a big item - then I had no choice

Put up your EXPENSIVE THINGS - don't leave anything tempting out for strangers in your house.

I am so sorry about your husband, this is the first time I read about it. You are so young. I am so sorry for you loss.

My daughter has sold things on craigslist and has no complaints.

I sold my Ipod nano on Craigs List. I made sure I had a serious buyer. When he was worried about my safety and his safety I knew I had a serious buyer.Anyway since I could not meet him anywhere we met out side of my house. I had my best guy friend on the phone and my brother near by. I like to take a lot of precautions!
