I have slept with my arm up, under my pillow, laying on my belly for as long as I can remember.
My left shoulder is starting to give me trouble and my hubby is convinced it's the way I sleep.
I have tried and tried to sleep with my arm down and more on my side, but it is just giving me restless sleeps. As soon as I move to my position that is comfy for me, I'm out like a baby!
How do you sleep? Is this why my shoulder is hurting me? How can I change my sleeping position?

That is exactly how I sleep and sometimes my shoulder does bother me and I wonder if its from sleeping that way also. I cannot sleep any other way though either. I have to go on my stomache with my arm under my pillow/head to sleep. Maybe firmer higher pillows that are comfy without your arm under the pillow may help you find a new position to sleep in. I dunno! If you do find something though let me know cuz I need help with that also!

That's exactly how I sleep too! Now and then, I get up and my shoulder hurts so bad that I can hardly move my arm for a while. I'm sure it's not good for us to sleep that way, but if it's the only way we can sleep, what can we do. I'll be watching this thread.

Thats usually how I sleep. Sometimes I'll sleep on my back with my right arm up on top of my pillow and I lean my head on my arm. I don't know why but, it works when I can't fall asleep on my stomach.
