|  Florida fires Yikes it is scarey around here right now! My cousin and her family are evacuating to our house right now. I think we are pretty safe right now. Caren and Cuzio are y'all freaking? Is it making national news? My cousin and family are in Palm Bay and could see flames on 3 sides of their house. Two families from her mommy and me have had their homes burned down. I'm a Florida girl and I can deal with hurricanes but these fires are scarey!

| Gosh sorry! that is scarey! It has been so dry here and we only get to water once a week!  I invested 10K in my yard last spring and I am afraid I am gonna lose it  There are places in my backyard that are yellow. We have a new company coming out tomorrow to see if it needs anything special to keep it alive. I remember fires the past few years but none in my neighborhood!!! I hope it rains soon!! Will be thinking of you and your cousins  |

| EEkk I'm so sorry! I hope and pray that your families houses in Palm Bay are OK. I can't believe they are saying it is arson.... so horrible!!! I live in Viera, but work in Palm Bay. It was so crazy over there today.... Hopefully they will have the fires contained soon.....

| I just found out my apartment complex has watered down all of our grass. There was a fire last week off of Murrell and Viera Blvd, and I heard there was one at Wickham Park.... I keep hearing helicopters flying back and forth so hopefully it will get contained in Palm Bay ASAP!!!

| Very scary!!! I've been watching the news on the fires in Palm Bay. I work in Indian River County and have friends in Brevard. I hope your cousin and her family are okay and their home is okay. I will be thinking of them!!!

| Hey Nikki and Sonya....I am okay. Sorry I have been busy at work and doing some major spring cleaning at nights. The fires are crazy but my house is safe (thank goodness and for now). Monday I had to work at one of our Grand Openings and it was in Vero Beach. Basically I got stuck down there since they closed I95 and US1. I finally at 6pm traveled home by A1A - talk about out of the way. Hope all those Palm Bay families are doing okay. Nikki is your cousin and family okay?

Luckily the times I go in and leave work has helped me avoid a lot of traffic. It is so sad because a lot of people are not at work because they are protecting their homes. This one guy I work with has been going around his neighborhood with buckets of water to put out little fires started by the fire ambers...Also our HR manager has taken in her good friends after their house has been completed destroyed... It is so sad....

| They went home last night. They have a 3 year old and a 6 year old so it was quite an adventure around here for a few days.  We had lots of excitement- my favorite was the dog poop in the pool.
