| The cost of healthcare goes up and the quality of it goes DOWN! Same story all over the United States! Girl I HATE my doctors office also! I hope you find a new doctor and get the medical attention you deserve and pay for! I had it out one time at my doctors office, I had an ear infection for 8 months one time and they kept putting me on meds and it kept coming back as soon as I was off the meds! I wanted to see an ENT and they would not give me a referral! Mind you, Ive had the same PCP for 15 years and never ONE time MET the guy! I never met my own doctor! So when this all happened I flipped out finally after 8 months of pain and $20 copays for each script and $20 for each office visit. Finally my doctor came out of his office in the middle of my making a stink and I said "NICE TO MEET YOU! You've been my Primary Care doctor for 15 years and IVE NEVER MET YOU!!!!" and he said "if you are not happy you are welcome to find another doctor!" Not even asking why I was so upset, nothing!!! I swear, healthcare (from an outsiders perspective) has gone downhill so much!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OMG hell yes - It was 2 days with no sleep before I started looking up what the heck she gave me - called them - and got a run around. THAT'S when I broke down and went back to my old doctor from way back when I had insurance..... so basically - it cost me 150 to be WIDE AWAKE for 2 days and the doctor did not give ONE hoot. Even with me crying and losing it in her office she wrote something safe for HER - not at all what I was asking for. All I wanted was to get a few hours straight sleep after my husband died...the nights are the hardest you know ? |

No Longer a Member | Did you ever get your refill of effexor xr? That is one you cannot quit cold turkey, and your doctor should know that. People go through terrible withdrawal symptoms with that. Contact the AMA and report him, if for nothing else, but that part alone. |
