okay lets say my mom makes too much and she had to pay 80 something dollars this year but she paid it by the due date. does she get anything?

Well we filed our taxes on 4/14 (day before due) and we received ours via dd last Friday. I've heard your SSN is how they determine the date you receive it. I'm sure you'll get it.

Seems a number of checks have been sent to the wrong people. So for those waiting I suggest continuing to check and at worst calling up next week. Hubby still hasn't gotten his so I am presuming his might be part of that mess.

Received a notice yesterday...stating ours would be deposited on 5/9...checked my account this morning...and voila it's there.

ok so i went to the irs website it's Internal Revenue Service and did thestimulus calculater and now it is saying i will get $1298.00???? i am married with 2 kids?? i should get $1800.00? I also called and they don't have a status on my check yet also the dates for the checks are when they will be mailed not when you will recieve them it says wait at least 2 weeks from mail date before you call to check on refund ugghhhhhhh this sucks!

I am bummed cause I was told I would get $300.. I am single.. retired.. My retirement is taxed.. It was WAY over the $3000... and now when I check the calculator on the website.. it says I don't get anything! NOT FAIR! I did get a $915 dollar tax refund which was everything I paid IN... so I am bummed I got nothing on the stimulus check. In addition to the retirement, I also had income from my bear business.

I check mines and it said I will not receive one because someone claimed and and no one claimed me. My mother tried but they said she could not because I had already filed my taxes. Argghh

If you check the status section there are new hypotheticals to show how they determine what you get. They keep revising it...seems like it's a big slight of hand. Very frustrating.

In order to get the stimulus check...you had to have a tax liability of at least $600. Since you got the entire amount back that you paid during the year...that's why you are not eligble.

Me getting 1500 is a pitious compared to what we pay in federal taxes during the year and even this money will go right back to the irs.

We got the general notice about it and then got this letter stating the amount and deposit date.
