| I have one. I regret getting it, honestly. I thought I would use it so much! But I have no use for it. I find it hard to upload the videos, it always freezes my computer. I also find it hard to edit the videos but I guess that could just be that I'm tech. challenged. The quality is good for the price though. Maybe I should get it out of the closet and work on it this summer.

| I have one!!! I love it so much, I don't even use my camera anymore! You can tell because I'm always posting videos here on YT! I love it so much I bought another 1 but unfortunately I had to give 1 of them to my uncle last Friday who was just exiled back to the Philippines (long story!) but yeah so he can keep in touch with his daughters! *sigh* I already miss it! Anyhoot! I have the 1 hour version. I have Mac OSX and it never freezes my laptop! I haven't tried it with PC yet, but doesn't everything always freeze on the PC anyway? (Let us not go there right now). Back to the Flip, it is so simple to use, I tried the editing a video recently and was so easy to do, but you can only edit the beginning or the end but not the middle. For the price, I think the quality is great! The volume is kinda su*ky, sometimes you have to hold it next to your ear to hear anything but the great part is that you can plug it directly to your TV and can increase the volume there and when you upload the videos the volume is great! The software application is already embedded inside the Flip, meaning you can download the program to any computer you want, you don't have to carry the CD with you. Well, long story short, I recommend it. I bought a Sony DVD camcorder a couple years back for over $1000 and I have used the Flip more than that in just a short about of time. Partly because I have to continuously buy the DVD for it and it only holds 30 mins recording time. The Sony was a total waste of money! I could have totally bought another Yorkie with that!!! *Ugh!!!* Last edited by wookie; 05-07-2008 at 02:19 PM. |
