I spoke with my mom tonight. She has a bad headache and a bit of pain - very much to be expected I would say. She sounded funny - I figured she was pretty well packed in there and she said, yes, she will go back to the doctor tomorrow to be checked and she is hoping all that cotton packing will be removed.

I'm sorry, I just saw this thread. I'll keep her in my prayers that she'll make a speedy recovery and that it will help her lead a healthier life.

thank you for all the prayers. My mom seems to be making good headway. She returned to the doctor yesterday and they took the bandages off and unpacked her nose

-- she will go back next week to have the stitches out and then in about 2 mths if she is doing well, they will remove the tube they placed thru the hole in her bone

She didn't feel that great this morning - but improved so much that she is off to see Syesha - American Idol finalist perform in her hometown of Sarasota today.
