I found out that since I filed online and had the fees deducted from my refund the stimulus payment will be mailed instead of direct deposited

If you chose the option to have your TaxACT filing fees deducted from your refund, the IRS sent your income tax refund to Republic Bank. The transaction fees and TaxACT's product fees were then deducted, and they forwarded the balance of your refund to your bank account.

So does this mean if I had my accountant file for me online and he had his fee taken from my refund I will have to wait for a mailed check. Even though I got my refund direct deposited?

All this tax stuff gives me a headache. According to the schedule I should have mine direct deposited today.

My girlfriend had the same thing,it was supposed to be depositied last Friday..nothing yet. I'm not getting ours until late June. I've decided to just put it in my savings for gas...LOL ...NOT FUNNY

BUT TRUE!!!!

I got my paper check today

They told me 5-16 or within 2 wks after so it came earlier than I thought. It was going to save it but I changed my mind and will put in on my charge.

I still didn't get mine yet. Now I'm expecting it to be mailed sometime in June. It is a real headache! Good luck everyone

We got ours, but they messed up with the amount. (I heard their actually making a lot of mistakes) so my fiance has to call them.
