| You won't feel a thing, I promise! When I had mine done, the guy said to take a deep breath, I did and he said, ok all done. I DID NOT FEEL A THING! Good luck and enjoy it.

| I hope so! Thank you! I've got 2 ear holes on both sides, plus 1 ear hole on the top of my right ear. And the one on top didn't even hurt. So hopefully this will be smoothly too.

| It's not that bad... I got mine 9 years ago and still have it...I'd go with surgical steel....didn't hurt me that bad at all and I've never had a problem with it.

| Yes, I have my belly pierced too and I LOVE IT! I got mine done when I was 19....my parents rolled their eyes and said it was a phase, but here I am yeeears later loving it! haHA!! So there! I also have my cartlidge pierced (top of my ear) and it hurt worse, trust me! It's true. The thing about getting your belly pierced is that you don't know what it's like to feel pain THERE. So even when you do feel pain it's a werid kind of pain. And it's not very painful. Imagine someone pinching you there reeeeeally hard for like ten seconds, or less. No biggie. Trust me, I'm the world's biggest wuss. Well not the biggest but I'm a big wuss when it comes to pain but this was no big deal! I RECOMMEND: get your belly pierced with a hoop. PLEASE listen to me when I say this because if you get it pierced with a banana ring it WILL get infected. Get it pierced with a hoop, all the way around, that way when you wash it with Dial soap many times a day, you can spin the hoop around and around and the back around hte other way so you can get ALL the germs out. And even if you think you're healed up, don't change the ring until the date recommended! And when you're ready to start buying new, fun belly rings, eBay is the only place. I mean, they're $18-25 everywhere else, but on eBay they're like $4.99. You can't beat it! Dude I can tell you ALL about it, so if you need to, PM me! Feel free girl.

| A hoop is a ring. It goes all the way around and the opening is closed with a ball of some sort. The place I got mine pierced didn't allow you to be peirced with anything but. Once you can change (i was terrified of changing mine too) I was afraid if i took it out i'd never get one back in. Now i have a curved barbell in there and i just change the balls on the end. it's less scary that way.

| This is a hoop, similar to what mine was pierced with. It's not as cute but trust me, it's better for you while you heal up! You're more likely NOT to get infected and just take it out like many of my friends did, if you get it done with a hoop: http://www.lostseaopals.com.au/shop/...belly-ring.jpg The other kind is commonly referred to as a "banana bell" kind of belly ring. I have a zillion of those now, thanks to going crazy on eBay a few times over the years, LOL! I got my latest "banana bell" one for $2! And it's a zipper! Silly, I know but it's really FUN! http://i15.ebayimg.com/03/i/02/7c/11/fc_2.JPG

| I got my belly button pierced the day I turned 18. My parents weren't too happy lol! But they couldn't stop me because I was 18. It hurt a little, for a second. The funny thing is though they pierce it with a needle then stick the jewelry through the needle and take the needle out well the needle is open on one end to stick the jewelry through and the jewelry I wanted hung down below my belly button and she pierced it the opposite direction so I couldn't get that piece of jewelry. So, I am lying on the table with a needle in me and she says uh oh and i am like uhhhh that isn't a good sound to hear when you have a needle in you so she leaves me on the table needle still in to go find another piece of jewelry. I was trying so hard not to look at the needle. She ended up putting a plain metal bar in and even though I wasn't supposed to that night I switched it to the hanging flower that I had wanted. Well I got two pieces of jewelry for the price of one because of the mistake. This is not a horror story or anything it was amusing. I love my belly button ring, so don't be scared! |

| I have mine. MAKE SURE you get a surgical steel RING, not banana shaped. ONe that is in the shape of a circle -- much less chance of infection. It doesn't hurt. Swear to God.
