Drifting and Boosting 101:

To drift you hold the trigger button [also known as the B button on the underside] on the remote [not nun-chuck]. Drifting is like pulling on your emergency brake in a real car. Your back end starts to 'drift.' You always do this on turns - sharp or not. If you drift long enough, you will see sparks on the end of your bike/car and then right after you let go - you get a quick little boost.

Tricks 101:

The moment you fly off a jump, you shake your remote. I mean....the INSTANT you start soaring...you shake. That gives you a short little boost when you get back on the ground. Remember....even little jumps and bumpy hills count!

Boosting in the beginning:

During the 3, 2, 1 stage....you press on the gas during the 2 to 1 part. Not right when it turns to two, but maybe a second after. Just hold down the a button and usually you should always get a boost right when the light turns green!

There you have it! Those 3 are the keys to winning in MK.
