Therapy Dog Donating Member | ![]() Hi Kyle I used to have an Eclectus parrot and used Febreeze with no harm. Really the only thing I really did avoid was teflon in my pots and pans..that really can kill them if used to a high heat. Also I watched my candles around him but burned them in other rooms that he was not in. ![]()

Therapy Dog Donating Member | ![]() I had a green (the males are green) but my girlfriend has a red female and they are gorgeous. My Tucker is now living with my friend in Augusta...our weather was brutal on his feathers and she wanted him so off he went after 4 years with me nowliving the good life in sunny Georgia!! They are a beautiful bird but you know how hard it is to have one...a lot of work that's for sure!

| ![]() Today my green bird has died, had him for 10 years, maybe he died from old age, but I sprayed febreeze without knowing these dangers. The next day he could barely move, he didn't talked either. He eventually fell and would not eat/drink. When I used to pet him he usually nibbled on my finger, but he barely even flinched. He soon fell from his bar and he kept sleeping. I went to check up on him and his wings were spread, faced on the floor, I petted him and he FLIPPED out and was doing roles and flips. He soon died after he fell on his back. I'm not sure if febreeze caused his death, but I think it had something to do with it. RIP Jr. |
