"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." I have a Midland accent also Although I have such a southern accent I don't know how they came up with that

yup, that's me all the way. I'm from North Jersey and New York City. When i was in college down in south jersey every one thought i was from NYC, and i just told them i was.

I have been told I have a very southern accent. I like the way I talk so I guess I Love it. Lol. I dont realize I have it until people tell me. Lol. When I came to college and met some people not from around here...this one guy in one of my classes asked me where I was from and all kinds of questions and then ended with.."Im sorry to ask so many questions but I just LOVE to listen to your accent! Its hot!" LOL!!!! I thought that was funny...sweet...but funny!

Mine was midland accent. I was born in Missouri so I guess that part was right but I have lived in TX for 30 years. Oh well, guess I don't have an accent at all.

Apperantly I'm mostly Philly too! Philly is *almost* tied with Northeast.

Northeast is on top, Philly is a close second. Its pretty accurate, I grew up in Marlboro, NY and I now live about 2 hours from Philly.
