My prayers and thoughts will not only be with your husband and his fellow soldiers but also with you and the wives, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and children of these soldiers!

My husband was Air Force and I know a regular TDY, overseas is hard..but one with war involved is something I can't and don't want to imagine. My heart goes out to you! It takes a strong person to join the military to be a soldier....it takes an even stronger person to marry & support that soldier.

My family is grateful and will keep you and yours in our daiy prayers!

My heart really goes out to you sweetie. I come from a military family and know how hard it is. Be strong and be here.... we will help you get thru this. God Bless your hubby, he is an honorable man and I am very proud of him and all of our servicemen and women in this awful war.

Oh, I am so sorry!
I am from an Airforce family and grew up with my dad overseas alot.
My brother was in Desert Storm.

My heart goes out to you. I will keep you and your hubby in my prayers. I know what its like to have a loved one over there, my little brother was there and it was hard on my whole family. (((HUGS))) to you!

I'm so sorry, I know it's really hard. My son has been over there since March 1st (hopefully be home mid-September) and it's been hard on my Daughter-in-law too. They say the first part is the hardest and then as you keep yourself busy and life goes on it gets a little easier. I don't know if you have children but I know my daughter-in-law keeps pretty busy with my 2-year old granddaughter. Yes, I worry for him too and miss him but my faith keeps me strong and my every day life is not changed with his absence like hers is. I think it's the hardest on the spouse and kids. The good news is, from what my son says there's really not much going on over there THANK GOD! He complains mostly of being bored, I'm OK with that

! My prayers are with both of you and I pray for his safe return. Thank you for your sacrifice!

My prayers are with you. My sister is career army and has now done 3 tours of duty in Iraq. Her ex husband is also career army and was based in Germany. It's very hard but keep the faith. We do not have to have faith in the war or like the war but we must be strong and have faith in every soldier that is over there.

Advice that I learned from my sister. DONT WATCH THE NEWS!!! Yes I know I shouted. She told me that most of the news stories are fabricated twists of the truth in order to sell air time and newsprint. She said if anything happened wait and hear it from her.

My prayers are now with your husband every day the same way they are for every soldier until every one is home.

I am an Army Brat, or was one when my Dad was in the service, so I know somewhat of what you are feeling. Please come back and talk with us whenever you feel the need. We can keep your mind busy. Just look at me I have been sitting here chatting with friends the whole day through and have accomplished .....NOTHING!

We will try our very best to keep you entertained while he is away.
So pull up a chair and lets get ......

I am so sorry you are going through this. I know there isn't anything that I can say to make it easier, but I will pray for your family. Keep busy..hopefully you will look back on this time thinking how quickly it went by..

I just want to say, Thank you to all you ladies for showing compassion and support in my time of sadness. It wont be easy but I with my 3 beautiful kids will make it, and we will be here for our HERO to come home back in our family. I really appreciate all your kind words.

Our Grandchildren have moved in with us.
It's not going to be easy, stay strong, you have lots of friends here.
