| Restaurants? Can anyone reccommend a good NYC restaurant? I'd prefer something fancy and expensive...I want to dress up (my bf won project of the year and his company is treating us to whatever dinner we want!) I have looked online but really dont know where to choose...sooo, any suggestions on a really great restaurant??

| I guess American? Steaks, Seafood...somewhere along those lines..I know there are a lot of French restaurants but I don't think we would like those.

| Not sure how fancy you like but I've eaten at The View inside the Marriot Marquis. It is a revolving roof top restaurant and you see views of the city. Broadway Restaurants | New York Marriott Marquis – Restaurants | New York City Dining I've eaten at Carmines. Not fancy but good for a group of people. You order group portions and share. I liked the atmosphere. Have you looked at citysearch? New York Restaurant Recommendations and Reviews on Citysearch And you can reserve a table OpenTable Restaurants and Restaurant Reservations Hope this helps.

| Daniel's for sure! It might have some French stuff, but it has other stuff as well and it's awesome. It's a dining experience. I think Daniel Boulud has other restaurants as well, but I can't remember the names. Any one of them would be great because he's awesome.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I wanted to bump this up. Tonight I went to the city with the cast from a show I was in. We ate at this terrific Italian restaraunt called "Carmine's" - on W. 44th. Its fancy and on the expensive side! and the food is SO.GOOD. We had salad, chicken parm, veal, pasta, and this AMAZING chocolate moose type thing. It was an awesome dinner. I very highly reccomend it.
