Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Hubby's Prize Violet My DH inherited this plant from his father when he passed on. He has lovingly cared for it for the last 6 years. He recently transplanted it, didn't lose a single leaf in the transition and it sprung to life with the most beautiful purple blossoms. It is just huge. The leaves span 17". It is just beautiful and he is so proud. I just took this pic and wanted to share it with you. I also set it as our desktop background so when he comes home and gets on the computer he will be so surprised! Did I mention it is just beautiful! LOL

| Oh how beautiful! It looks like your husband's loving care to this beautiful Violet is a living memorial to his Daddy. Thank you so very much for sharing. I wish I could be a fly on your wall when he sees the desktop background for the first time |

| Oh my goodness! It is so beautiful. I LOVE all plants and I just started an orchid house! I would love to try my hand at violets one day. My grandmother can get them to grow so easily, I know they can be very difficult. Your husband should be very proud! He has done a wonderful job! (wish this thumb was green)

| Hubby's Prize Violet When I saw the title, I thought your baby ate it. Thanks for sharing your story, it is beautiful, what do you use to keep the leaves so clean. I have 3 and love them.
